Labor Day 2000

This year's Labor Day Char-a-Thon started with a visit to Pat's Market in Arcadia ... for the Ribs ... then a drive to La Crosse.  There were snacks galore, as usual.  Then Rick began to char the ribs ...

Meanwhile Kyle poured some lemonade and Jeff read the La Crosse Tribune while Kathy cut the corn bread.  Kitty took a little break to play with Cookie, the cat ...

After the cookout it was time to enjoy some of the Star Trek Marathon and a little scooter riding by Kathy and Kyle.  Those are the ones who are pictured anyway.  And there's a picture of Kitty, Rick and Kyle taking a little rest on the steps

Since I took all the pictures, there are none of me.  The closest you'll get is a picture of my toe .. in the lower right-hand corner of the picture above.

Kyle got a little hungry for cookies.  We had some dessert and then sat down to plan the menu for Bishop Burke's visit to Arcadia on Thursday night.  Kyle will also dine with the Bishop.  Pray for us!  (-:
