It has been so uplifting. I especially enjoyed reading the grieving section. In February my Grandma, who was "93 and a half" as she would say :-), passed away. It has been my first real experience with death of someone close and I didn't think it could be so hard. She was pretty spry and with it right til the end. Many said at her age she is where she would always want to be. I guess I don't think of it as age, but as losing my Grandma who was so special--a person, not a number. It's weird but I feel like I think about her all the time. Easter was especially hard. Not having her at the dinner table. Well, I'd better quit rambling now. This is a great site! |

We lost our son Oct 13 1995 age 25 suicide due to mental illness. Senior in college when illness overtook him. Kept up struggle for another 3 years. Prayed for five years but it did not save him. Marion goes to church but can not pray. God lost his son, so did we! The homilies do not relate to where we are. |
