Infertility

Natural Family Planning

A number of our cyber-members have submitted prayer requests for couples having difficulty conceiving a child.  Our prayers are with them, that's for sure!  There is also help available.  It has been known for some time that various forms of artificial contraception can cause or contribute to fertility problems.

Natural Family Planning is a means of either achieving or avoiding pregnancy based upon the couples own knowledge of their naturally occurring cyclic phases of fertility and infertility.  NFP is not contraception -- it is true family planning and provides the couple with the means to be able to freely express their reproductive potential. Unique among methods of family planning, NFP works with the body rather than against it.

Trouble Achieving Pregnancy

Many couples are trying to achieve pregnancy.  Natural Family Planning can be a great help in that area as well.  Jeff and Alice are also familiar with other good resources, including the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, Nebraska.  They are doing some marvelous things with infertility, often times at low cost, usually covered by health insurance, and always within the teachings of our Catholic Faith.

Jeff and Alice have already helped some of our cyber-members to connect with coordinators in their areas of the country.  Feel free to contact Jeff and Alice:
