The events of the past days have been remarkable.  Our country and the world continue to mourn the loss of loved ones, the loss of safety and security.  We'll see many funerals in the next days.  We'll also see many of our men and women heading out on planes and ships for parts unknown.

It's good that we have found a place to gather and to gain strength.  I hope you'll consider yourself part of our community here in Arcadia, Wisconsin USA.  If this link was forwarded to you by a family member or friend, I hope you'll use the easy form here to sign up for our daily e-mail Morning Prayer and our weekly Spiritual Reflections as well.

We can be confident that the American spirit cannot be destroyed.  It will rise again, stronger than ever.  Jesus showed us that life is stronger than death, that light is stronger than darkness.  God will bring us through and help us rise again.

We can consider these difficult and tragic events as people of faith.  We can explore the things we believe as Christian people as we turn to our God to heal us and lift us up.  We know that there cannot be peace on earth until there is justice.  May our response be measured, a response of justice rather than vengeance.  May God bless us all

The World shares our grief

God is always on the side of the faithful.
Reflections of Pope John Paul II, 9-19-2001, Psalm 56

 Citizens of the World

The support our country is receiving from those of other nations is most welcome and most overwhelming.  People from all over the world have gathered these days ... to share our grief ... to offer their prayerful support.  The following link can take us to an overwhelming place as well.

It's impossible to look at these photos and not feel part of a community that embraces our planet.  There are photos of people of all nations and their special tributes and signs of support.  They have now been split into two pages for faster downloading. Take a look.

May we continue to grow into the human family our God calls us to be!  Here's the link ...
