Jesus falls the first time.

Leader:  We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
All:  Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Jesus, the cross you have been carrying is very heavy.  You are becoming weak and almost ready to faint, and you fall down.  Nobody seems to want to help you.  The soldiers are interested in getting home, so they yell at you and try to get you up and moving again.

As a child, sometimes I start to do something, but then get tired of it.  I hurry to get finished and sometimes don't do my work well.  Sometimes I don't pay attention to what I should be doing.   When things get hard for me, sometimes I give up.

As an adult, I sometimes put things off.  I give up too easily, and sometimes don't do my work as well as I know I can. 

LET US PRAY:
God, I know there are many times when I give up before I should.  I need to think of the cross Jesus carried, and how he got up again and kept moving.  Help me to do my work as well as I can and to finish what I have started.  When I fall, help me get up again and keep going.  Through Christ, our Lord.   Amen.

Jesús cae por primera vez.

Lider:  Te adoramos ¡oh, Cristo! y te bendecimos.
Todos:  Que por tu Santa Cruz redimiste al mundo .

Jesús , La cruz que has estado cargando es muy pesada .  Estas debilitándote y casi te desmallas , entonces... caiste.  Tal parece que nadie quiere ayudarte .  A los soldados solo les interesa irse a casa , Por esto te gritan y te apuran, para que te levantes y sigas el camino .

Como un niño, a veces empiezo a hacer algo, pero entonces me canso de hacerlo .  A veces hago mis trabajos apuradamente y no quedan tan bien como debieran.  A veces no presto atención a lo que estoy haciendo.   Cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles, muchas veces me doy por vencido.

Como adulto, Dejo de hacer cosas.  me rindo muy fácilmente, y muchas veces no hago mi trabajo como debiera.  

OREMOS:
Dios, Se que hay muchas veces que me rindo antes de intentar.  Necesito pensar en la cruz que Jesús cargó, y como se levanto y siguió hacia delante.  Ayúdame a realizar mi trabajo lo mejor que pueda y a concluir lo que ya he comenzado.  Y cuando caiga, ayúdame a levantarme de nuevo a seguir hacia delante.  Por Jesucristo, Nuestro Señor.   Amén.
